Manifestos from audience members of Open Night in GTAC, in Govan Glasgow. Appropriately The New Free State of Copeland wasn't far from Copeland Street in Ibrox.
- Democracy. - As little hegemony as possible. - Socialist agenda. - free education. - no patriarchy. - no ableism/ racism/ sexism/ homophobia/ islamophobia etc... - legalised marijuana. - no tories.
Everyone must be free to be who or what they want to be. NOT IN AN INDIVIDUALISTIC WAY BUT COLLECTIVE. (somehow). People should be able to pass freely from any country they choose to this country. Music should be mandatory but never forced in a bad way. There should be freedom to follow any path through life that you want. EVERYONE IS CONNECTED TO EVERYONE ELSE. WE MUST HELP EACH OTHER.
Sunrises. Lollipops. Irn bru. Happiness. Hugs. Wellbeing. Openness. Assurance. Nutrition. Communication. Gentleness. Support. Kindness. Slowness... that's not a thing... slow things down until we understand. LOVE. Whiskey.

Manifestos from students, staff and members of the public at Central Saint Martin's art school in London, who were asked what they would do if they were members of a new free state:
- Free education and healthcare to any citizen who asks for it. - Decentralised payment system, e.g. bitcoin. - 3 day week. - Compulsory attendance of music festivals/ gigs at least once a season.
- Free education. - Ditto healthcare. - No 4x4s (apart from when it's muddy). - Everyone has a garden. - David Bowie is the patron saint.
- Free water (drinkable). - Hospital. - City centre (reasonable topography). - Acknowledge Constant's 'New Babylon' [on wikipedia: New Babylon is an anti-capitalist city, perceived and designed in 1959-74 as a future potentiality by visual artist Constant Nieuwenhuys.] - Depends on climate but heating must be available and so on. - Healthy food (NO JUNK FOOD). - Knowledge sources (ie. libraries).

Manifestos of the people in Copeland Park, Peckham, who were asked what they would do if they were members of a new free state:
- Formal education to begin at 35. - No car ownership or driving until aged 40. - Street games to be heavily encouraged for children. - Communal decisions about crime – compensation/ punishment. - A quota system for housing and free communal facilities for all. - A local P.A.Y.E. system to pay for these amenities.
- Working week: (Daytime) 4 hours communal work 4 hours fun work 4 hours good times (sex/ music/ art) - Cap on wage/ earnings at £150,000 per year. - Emphasis on equality, love, trust and freedom. - This will be implemented by encouraging good parenting, good education and freedom of expression. - Free universal childcare. - Emphasis on the concept of ‘know thy neighbour’: localise society through shops and schools. - No time or room for greed and selfishness.
- No stealing. - No make up. - No bullying. - Everyone should have a home. - No money – things should just be swapped and traded. - No teachers bossing around in school.
