‘‘Oo Er Missus!’ is an all-singing, all-dancing series of acts celebrating the history of British female entertainers from music hall to today’s chart-topping pop princesses. Infamous documentary maker and presenter Doris Chartworthy is making a special appearance, providing us with wry and insightful commentary about the role of these women and their impact throughout changing times. Cut up with performances of famous hits from guest stars, Chartworthy guides us through the media hype, misquotes and tabloid shockers that created the legends we know and love today. Also co-starring Ruth Mariner tinkling on the ol’ Joanna.
